Sweet Potato Casserole

A fall classic, sure to leave you satisfied and full.

Ingredients

For the casserole....

  • 6 lbs sweet potatoes
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 4 eggs

Topping

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2/3 stick butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, optional

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in stand mixer.
  • Cover with topping.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 30 - 45 minutes until done.
