Garlic Parmesan Air Fryer Wings

Servings 3 people

Ingredients

For the wings

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken party wings
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder

For the sauce

  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • kosher salt, to taste

Instructions

  • Wash the chicken wings and pat them completely dry with a paper towel.
  • Toss the chicken wings with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Pre-heat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Place the wings in the air fryer, presentation side down and cook for 1- minutes.
  • While the wings are cooking, melt the butter and mix in the grated Parmesan, garlic powder, parsley flakes and salt.
  • Turn the wings over and continue cooking on 400 degrees for an additional 7 - 9 minutes.
  • Check to see if the wings are done. To do so, stick a knife into the fattest part of one of the wings. If the juice runs clear, they are done. If the juice is pink, they are not done. Continue cooking for approximately 5 additional minutes and check again.
  • When the wings are completely done, remove the from the air fryer and brush (or dunk!) in the garlic Parmesan butter sauce.
  • Try not to eat them all in the first 5 minutes!!
